PK score may be quiz lead record

HARE and Hounds A were missing their captain but it is doubtful if his presence could have turned round a massive defeat at the hands of Polished Knob whose score was the night’s highest and, at 94, could be a Todmorden Quiz League League record.

At Woodpecker the match was evenly contested until the second half when the home team pulled away to a convincing win over Weavers. Cornholme’s Waggoners faced a strong performance from Jack’s House who were easy winners on the night. Good form seems to have deserted Queen in their comprehensive defeat against Hare and Hounds B.

Royal George were way behind at one stage but pulled back in the second half , although this was not enough to gain victory over Shannon, whose floral knowledge nailed it in the last round.

At Centre Vale the Cricketers were only one point behind going into the last round but lost the round, hence giving victory to Bridge End.
