TWO fighters from the Powerhouse Fight Camp, based at Bailey’s Gym, Todmorden, have been successful in Muay Thai kick-boxing bouts.
Oliver Stansfield fought at the Irish Centre, in Manchester, and stopped his opponent in the second round to win by knockout.
Trevor Bottomley fought at The Hallmark Hotel, Wilmslow.
He also won his fight by a knockout in just one minute and eight seconds of the first round by a knee to the body.
Powerhouse also has two fighters on a bill in York next week.
Steven Whatmough is having his first amateur bout and Robert Hardman, who also coaches at the Powerhouse is fighting at a professional level.
Successful Todmorden boxer Pete Newbury, who originally started as a kick boxer, also fights out of Powerhouse Fight Camp and has a bout in Barnsley next week.
