Unsettled reserves find the going tough

WITHOUT a settled side Borough’s reserve team are finding it difficult.

Saturday’s game was no different. With a number of new players and others having to play out of position, they never really got going against Longridge Town, a team who moved one position above them after this victory.

Manager Craig Milnes struggled to put out a full side for the game and he even had to play in goal himself.

While Dave Patrick had a good game and Jack Dungworth worked tirelessly throughout, they were not able to cope with the home side.

They went behind to a skillfull header in the first half.

They were always on the back foot in the second half and the home team doubled their lead with another well-headed goal, which finally killed off any hope of a Borough fightback.
