A high standard of work was seen by a good attendance of visitors to Todmorden Photographic Society’s annual exhibition, which ran over four days at Todmorden Town Hall.

Although Sunday’s attendance was hit by closure of flooded roads, Saturday was very busy indeed following Friday night’s opening, with visitors arriving from Rochdale, Bacup and even Clitheroe, as well as locally.

Society president Ian Wright said: “We had an excellent standard of entries overall this year and on Saturday afternoon we had a lot of people visiting the exhibition.”

The exhibition closed on Monday night with a screening of vintage screening using original magic lantern equipment.

The society meets regularly each Wednesday at St Michael’s Church, Burnley Road, Cornholme (7.30pm for 7.45pm). The 2016 edition of its annual calendar featuring members’ work is now on sale at the usual outlets.

The results were as follows.
