Feast of a film is Friends’ choice

Mouth-watering 1987 Oscar-winner Babette’s Feast is the next film to be screened by Friends of the Picture House.

Starring Stephane Audran, and set in 19th century Denmark, it is a charming celebration of the restorative powers of good food and drink. It is being shown in Friends’ monthly slot at Hebden Bridge Picture House on Saturday, February 13 (4.30pm). Friends will serve up food “with a Danish twist” beforehand.
