IT’S no gamble...Casino Royale looks all set to be a cert for fun, raising money for TB Alert at Todmorden Social Club on November 26.
The show is part of Todmorden resident Keiran Hardman’s Beg, Steal and Borrow bid to raise money for the charity, which helps Africans affected by tubercolosis (TB), the continent’s biggest killer.
Keiran will travel to Africa via the UK and Europe at minimal cost, doing running repairs on a basic Land Rover to raise the maximum amount for the charity.
The roulette wheel and card tables will be only part of the James Bond themed night. Men In Black will play soul and a major part will be the fashion show.
Kieran approached Louise Routledge at Halo Boutique, at Patmos, Todmorden, to ask if they could add a fashion element - and they have come up with a stonking 007 sexy fashion show!
Jo Royle from Royle Event Management and Promotion has provided the models from Real Runways, who will be performing as sexy Bond girls.
Armed with their weapons of seduction, they will be dressed in party wear from Halo, accessorised with essential spy gadgets!
Boudoir@Halo will be providing footwear and Charlie Brown Jewellery is draping the models in her Bond Girl Bling.
Stardust Collections are providing some sexy Bond outfits for the “Goldfinger” and “Diamonds Are Forever” dance segments.
The music has been devised by Charlotte and Louise Routledge with choreography by Josie Lewis. Director of make-up, creating a look to fit the Bond theme, is Natalie Lees, with a team including Imogen Thorpe.
Real Runways will be out and about this Friday night as Bond Girls promoting the event and selling tickets, which are £10 and can also be obtained in advance from Navigation Supplies, Todmorden, Todmorden Social Club, Halo or on the door on the night.
