Opening this April, the 1830 Gallery will exhibit a quite outstanding retrospective of photojournalist Will Wintercross’s work.

The exhibition focuses on a cumulation of work spanning his career to date; from his first work for the Ngami Times in Botswana to his war reportage in Mali and Syria, photographing the Ebola crisis in Sierra Leone and Liberia and cricket in the Himalayas. The retrospective brings together a broad selection of Will’s most powerful and unforgettable images like the one above of people returning to Diabaly in Mali which had only recently been freed from opposition forces. This extraordinary collection of photographs will go on display from April 23 to May 29.
