On Saturday 28th November, as part of the Yorkshire Victorian Christmas at Brighouse, the Brighouse Business Initiative (BBI) are staging their annual Christmas variety show at the Waring Green Community Centre.

The show features favourite entertainers, local choirs and theatre groups who have worked hard together to bring this fabulous show to the stage.

John Buxton of the BBI said: “Come and start your Christmas festivities with fun, song and laughter. Our MC for the evening is Dickie Lines, who will appear in many guises throughout the night impersonating pantomime characters.

Miss Harper and her class of youngsters will perform excerpts from “Oliver Twist - The Musical” and Master Caius Lee will provide pianoforte accompaniment to his choir, “Treble Talents” who will open the show.

Foot of the Barrel Theatre Company will give us their interpretation of “Scrooge”, whilst “The Great Houdini” will attempt miraculous escapes on the stage. And there’s more.

The entertainers will take you back in time to celebrate great songs from the past.

The show also features the Minions and concludes with the famous “White Christmas”.
