CLASSIC rock is topping the bill at the Polished Knob, Burnley Road, Todmorden, this coming weekend.
The House Band return to the stage on Friday, April 20, and are set to pack in a good crowd on home turf with a selection which ranges from the Kinks to Bryan Adams. On Saturday, April 21, Sin After Sin promise rock classics from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Entry is free and music begins around 9.15pm.
l PUNK fans would have loved the energetic Complete Control at the Polished Knob last Friday, writes John Greenwood. “The Burnley outfit covered the genre from Clash to Sham 69, squeezed in the Ruts and Dead Kennedys and even covered Slaughter and the Dogs. Top marks for a powerful show.”
