Yorkshire singer-songwriter Daniel Pearson is the latest coup for the Trades Club, Holme Street, Hebden Bridge.
Pearson plays the venue on July 30, at a time when he is building on his reputation as one of the best songwriters around.
The past few years have seen the Leeds-based troubadour create a reputation as being one of the best new singer-songwriters in the UK. Blending elements of indie rock, country and classic rock n’ roll, his immediately accessible songs deliver the emotional connection that only instinctively great songwriting can provide.
He is at Hebden Bridge on a headline tour of the UK this summer and has announced a free download of the beautiful track Waves In The Sea.
Daniel’s soulful vocals and finely-crafted songs have found themselves on the airwaves of BBC 6Music, BBC Introducing, XFM, Amazing Radio and Australia’s biggest radio station Triple J.
His under-the-radar success has also been powered by a swelling fanbase on social media, where he has over 30,000 followers on key platforms like Twitter, Facebook and Soundcloud.
Critics’ consensus is that in an age of instant stardom, talent shows and endless media hyperbole, he is proving himself as a genuine talent.
