The next production of the Actors’ Workshop Youth Theatre’s 2015/16 Season will be Arnold Ridley’s “The Ghost Train” running fromTuesday April 19 to Saturday April 23 and directed by former Workshop member, Thomas Vickery. Set in the waiting room of an isolated station somewhere in North Yorkshire on a stormy night, the plot revolves around a group of stranded passengers and the station master’s warning of a local legend of a ghost train that dooms all who see it to death. Mysterious lights, phantom engine drivers and a vanishing corpse combine to make this spooky 1920s thriller into a right ripping ghost yarn.
Each performance starts at 7.30, with the doors and bar open from 7pm. Tickets are £8 (£5 conc) and available from the Workshop on 01422 323688 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
