Following the phenomenal success of his 55 date UK tour of Little Victories in 2014, and having already added extra dates for Spring 2015, Alan Davies extended his tour by 15 dates this autumn bringing him to the Victoria Theatre this evening.

His previous show, Life Is Pain – his first UK tour in over a decade - was critically acclaimed in Australia, New Zealand and across the UK.

Davies is probably best known as the much-loved resident dunderhead on QI or the star of iconic television series Jonathan Creek.

He began his career in stand-up comedy in 1988 and was runner-up in the City Limits New Act of the Year contest 1989.

He was named Time Out Best Young Comic in 1991 and made his network television debut on Tonight with Jonathan Ross in 1992.

In 1993 two appearances on C4’s Viva Cabaret led to a nomination for a British Comedy Award as Best Newcomer.

Davies, whose laid back style has won an army of fans arrives at the Victoria Theatre this evening and there are still some tickets for sale. If you fancy going call 01422 351 158 for the box office.
