The Little Theatre’s first production in the new year will be ‘Two’ by Jim Cartwright.

Taking place over the course of one evening in a typically Northern pub, the play famously features 14 varied characters played by just two actors, as diverse members of the local community pull up a stool and let us into their lives.

This much performed, entertaining two-hander by the celebrated author of ‘The Rise and Fall of Little Voice,’ walzes the audience through a full spectrum of human emotion, giving insights into the lives of the colourful pub regulars.

The director Vaughan Leslie will be holding a casting read-through on November 2 at 7.30pm at the theatre, Holme Sreet, Hebden Bridge. He is looking for a man and a woman in their 30s or 40s versatile enough to take on the challenge of playing seven parts each in this brilliant play.
