Overgate Hospice launches virtual Colour Run

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the hospice has had to cancel the majority of its fundraising events. However, they are encouraging residents to get involved from the comfort of their own home.

The event will be taking place via Facebook Live on Overgate’s page on Saturday July 11 at 11am.

Bazz from Bazzmatazz Dance Studio will return live on social media as our virtual host, as well as bringing back The Colour Run Cuddle as last year’s participants thought this was a lovely moment to remember loved ones no longer with us.

Faye Henderson, Head of Fundraising at Overgate Hospice said: "With so many of our events cancelled this year, we wanted to do something to bring all of our wonderful supporters together in a fun way whilst still supporting the vital work being done at the hospice.

"The rainbow has become a symbol of hope during this crisis and we thought that there was no better way to celebrate our amazing community than coming together to create a rainbow of colour above Calderdale."
