Elves have been working hard to make this year’s Kidsfest another one to remember.
While the Lamplighter Festival will light up Todmorden on Saturday evening, the free fun-packed afternoon will give children of all ages a chance to get their creative hats on and make something sparkly for the Christmas season.
The once-a-year children’s celebration, now in its tenth year, will be held in the town hall and all families are welcome to go along on the day.
Mary Clear, organiser of Kidsfest, said: “It’s a favourite in the town and people know to look forward to it. There’ll be something for everyone to enjoy and its a chance for everyone to have creative, sparkly, messy fun.
And when tummies begin to rumble, the team from St. Mary’s food bank will serve refreshments.
After a day of crafty festive fun, it will be time to pop outside to see the Christmas lights being switched on.
The afternoon runs from 12 noon until 3.30pm in the town hall.
