THE man whose body was found on remote moorland above Cragg Vale has been identified.
Police are appealing for any relatives of Richard David Fisher, who was discovered dead by a walker at a derelict farm near Withens Clough Reservoir last Thursday, to get in touch.
Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team were called out to the incident.
They believe the 40-year-old had links with Manchester and a young daughter possibly living in that area.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and police are not investigating him for any crime.
Anyone who can help call Calderdale CID 01422 33708.
Meanwhile the search and rescue team were called out to help a man who fell ill while hiking at Bridestones, above Todmorden, on Monday at 4.10pm.
They used their Land Rover ambulance to take the 84-year-old over rough fields and open tracks to a waiting ambulance so he could be treated in hospital.
