Agriculture building blaze involving 150 gallons of diesel

Fire crews have been called to an agriculture building fire in Todmorden that involved an acetylene cylinder and 150 gallons of diesel.

Firefighters were called to the incident just after 10am today (Monday) where the building at Higher Allescholes Farm, in Walsden was fully involved.

Four water pumps, two breathing apparatus and two hose reels from Todmorden. Lancashire and Greater Manchester attended.

Even though the fire has been extinguished a water shuttle is currently on site to cool the cylinders.
