A CHARITY is appealing for donations to help its fundraising appeal.
Pennine Animal Welfare Service (PAWS) is trying to raise £1,500 to cover the costs of an operation for a dog which it is looking after.
Mica, a five-month-old Akita and Husky cross, requires corrective surgery for ectopic uritus.
PAWS held a fundraiser on Todmorden Market which has generated money for the appeal.
A spokesperson said: “We would like to thank everyone for the support and encouragement that we received.”
Further events are planned and the charity is seeking donations of bric-a-brac for its market stall held on Thursdays or any ideas for fundraising activities.
All money raised goes directly to the care of animals.
