LOCAL bands are set to come together for one night only to play a special gig for the Halifax and Calder Valley MS Society.
The event takes place on Friday, May 18, from 7pm, at The Hebden Bridge Trades Club, Holme Street, Hebden Bridge.
The line up includes; The Sail Pattern, along with Colne based Emmott and the Folkestra - two bands at the forefront of the local folk music scene.
A spokesperson for the event said: “Both acts have won reputations for rousing, energetic songs and powerful live performances.”
The evening will be opened by local singer-songwriter Andy Dwyer, whose blend of humour and down to earth melody will set the night off memorably - according to the spokesperson.
