RESIDENTS at a care home have produced a buzzing summer wall display to link in with the Bee Spoke Todmorden project.

Staff at Millreed Lodge, Rochdale Road, have helped residents create “Bumbles”, a buzzy bee board in the canteen consisting of upturned paper plates painted yellow and black.

Activities co-ordinator Alison Greenwood said: “We saw in the paper about voting for the bees and voting for Todmorden. We had already started the board so decided to link it in.

“They have loved doing the painting and putting the bees together.

“We are very proud of our board.”
