The event was organised after it was announced the Todmorden Agricultural Show would be moving to a new site in Cliviger, Lancashire, after weight restrictions were imposed on Centre Vale Park.

The country fair will be held on Saturday, June 3, in the park and there’s already plenty of attractions in the pipeline, including animal displays, stalls and more.

Claire Ashworth, one of the organisers, said: “It’s about community working for the community.

“Todmorden has a great community and it does pull together.

“We should have things back on the park. It’s a beautiful park and we should use it.”

Claire added the event would be very similar to the agricultural show and a whole range of animals, including horses, sheep and cattle, would be at the fair.
