Police appeal: Ovenden shopper robbed by men in hoodies

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed after leaving a convenience store in Halifax.

The incident happened at 11.45am on Monday, March 17, when the victim was returning home from a Tesco Express on Keighley Road, Ovenden.

As he was walking up Club Lane holding a white carrier bag he was approached by approached by two males, one wearing a red hoodie and one wearing a blue hoodie. The man in the blue hoodie was riding a silver pedal bike.

The victim was pushed to the ground, held down and had his mobile phone and house keys stolen.

The offending males made off down Club Lane towards Keighley Road on the push bike.
