Keighley Cougars will formally open the Danny Jones Stand in tribute to their former player this afternoon (Sunday).
Danny, 29, died on May 3 while in action for the club in a rugby league match against London Skolars after a sudden cardiac arrest.
The League One club will rename one of their existing stands in honour of him at 2.30pm before their match against Oldham at Cougar Park.
A club spokeswoman said the stand will be refurbished in the months ahead.
A native of Halifax, Danny played for his hometown club over two spells, before rejoining Keighley in 2012.
His funeral at St Mary’s Church in Halifax was attended by around 1,000 people on May 22.
