The awards celebrated the Foundation's silver anniversary

The businesses it chose to recognise have supported the Community Foundation over its 25 year history.

The awards were specially commissioned and were produced by Deborah Wilkes, with each award unique and mirroring the ways in which businesses have supported the foundation.

Steve Duncan, CEO of the Community Foundation for Calderdale, said: “We are incredibly grateful for the support of local businesses. In many cases they have supported us across our 25 year history, so to be able to celebrate our 25th anniversary with so many of them is incredible.

“We chose to commission unique one-off pieces of art as the awards in recognition of the many different ways in which businesses have supported our mission to eradicate inequality and ensure fairer life chances for everyone, regardless of age, race, gender or disability locally.

“We are incredibly lucky to live in Calderdale, which has a rich history of philanthropy which evidently continues today.”
