Townspeople are being urged to support tonight’s charity fundraising concert for the family of 25-year-old mum of two Steph Evans.
Steph, who had the heart condition dilated cardiomyopathy, in which the heart’s ability to pump blood around the body is decreased, died in November and singing star Steve Dean heads the fundraiser at Todmorden Social Club tonight (December 18, 8.30pm) which also includes a bumper raffle and some auction items.
These include a signed Burnley Football Club shirt, four tickets for the tour of Burnley’s Turf Moor ground and some photographs donated by football stars.
A spokesman for the co-organisers said singer Steve covers a variety of styles from Roy Orbison and Gene Pitney to Meatloaf.
Tickets are £3, available on the door tonight.
Steph leavers her partner Ben Widdup and sons Alfie-James, three, and his brother 18-month-old Leyton-Baylee.
