A CELEBRITY guest will be on hand to witness the grand re-opening of Russell Dean’s.
Designer and television star Linda Barker will be at the relaunch of the Mytholmroyd furniture store, which takes place from 10am on Saturday, September 1.
The store on Burnley Road has been operating at reduced capacity since it was badly flooded in June, but the full showroom will once again be open.
Store manager Paul Ridgway said: “We are delighted to be open again so quickly after the devastation of the floods.
“I am very excited about our new showroom which looks better than ever.
“We have sourced some fantastic new products and really think our customers will love the new-look store”.
Paul said he would like to thank Russell Dean customers for all the support and kindness they had shown over the past few weeks.
Linda will be taking questions on interior design from 10.30am to 12.30pm and there will also be live music from Hebden Bridge Brass Band.
Food and drink will be available during the morning.
Paul said: “Friday, June 22, 2012, was probably the worst night in the history of Russell Dean’s when we were told that the complete ground floor of the store was flooded to a depth of three feet. Never in our 50 year history had we seen anything like it.
“But after two months of hard work, the showrooms have been transformed and on September 1 we are delighted to be holding a grand opening party.”
