Knitted rainbows bring joy to residents of Calderdale village

The people of Walsden are getting a splash of colour during their daily exercise walk thanks to one resident.

Carolyn Whittaker has knitted rainbows to help cheer people up with the current Covid-19 situation. There are 17 dotted around the village and many residents have been pleased to spot the colourful creations during their daily exercise. Carolyn has also made a display to celebrate the hard work of key workers during the crisis. It is hoped this will go on display at Todmorden Health Centre when it is safe to open.
