POLICE seized alcohol from four teenagers in Walsden.
The youngsters, aged between 15 and 16, were found in the grounds of St Peter’s Church. Officers seized and disposed of cans of Stella, bottles of San Miguel and a bottle of Apple Sourz.
Sergeant Michael Bowden, of the Upper Valley Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Anti-social behaviour and other crimes are often fuelled by drink. It is for this reason we confiscate alcohol from underage drinkers.
“Young people in drink are also more likely to put themselves at risk and they can become victims of crime themselves.”
