Spent parts of this autumn looking at the usually beautiful Calder Valley through clouds of rain?
Well, now you can brighten up winter this Christmas, and use your visual and tactile skills thanks to photographer Tessa Kerr’s new jigsaw puzzles.
Tessa, of Two Islands Photography, has produced sets ready to be snapped up by puzzle enthusiasts, and showing the valley at its best.
The Todmorden based photographer has produced a set of seven high quality, UK produced jigsaw puzzles featuring the stunning views and iconic landmarks in and around Hebden Bridge and Todmorden.
For Todmorden, there are two larger puzzles – 500 pieces – that feature a montage of images including the Lucky Dog, the Stoodley Pike monument and the Town Hall as well as some of the spectacular views Todmorden is known for. There are also two smaller puzzles – 400 pieces – that feature a view across to Stoodley Pike from the Shepherd’s Rest and also a canal view by Fielden Wharf.
The Hebden Bridge set of three consists of a 500 puzzle montage of landmarks and views and two 400 piece puzzles, one of Birchcliffe and one of the Packhorse Bridge.
Tessa says further puzzles are in the pipeline, with the local puzzles being limited editions, meaning new views will be available as time goes on.
The Todmorden jigsaw puzzles are available from Todmorden Information Centre and Todmorden Post Office, and the Hebden Bridge puzzles are on sale in Silly Billy’s toy shop.
All are also available online via Amazon or alternatively directly through Tessa’s website – www.tessakerrphotography.com
