SEVERAL attractions in the upper Calder Valley will be holding special events this weekend as part of the national Heritage Open Day scheme.
At Hardcastle Crags, Hebden Bridge, cotton spinning demonstrations will take place throughout Saturday afternoon.
Visitors can chat to spinners and see the many different ways to spin cotton. On Sunday there will be talks about the history of Hardcastle Crags and Gibson Mill. Talks will be held on the middle floor of the mill at 1pm and 3pm. Call 01422 846236 for details.
Todmorden Unitarian Church will open its doors to the public on Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 4pm.
