She settled in Todmorden in Autumn 2008 and since then has taken an active part in community and creative projects in the area, such as the first Alternatiba festival to be held in the UK.

Oxana reads her poetry at spoken word events around Calderdale and leads a frame drum band Incidentals, which performs locally and recently raised money for the flood fund.

Oxana has exhibited her works at local venues, including Todmorden Town Hall where she experiments with styles and techniques, painting both realist and abstract artwork.

The exhibition will feature an Irish and a Russian landscape, as well as old and new paintings by the artist.
