Water pumping station proposal

YORKSHIRE Water has applied to install a new waste water pumping station with security fencing at land off Silver Street, Walsden, Todmorden.

The land is owned by Gordon Rigg Garden Centre and the garden will be shared by Rigg’s and the pumping station, which will include an above-ground waterproof enclosure with electrical control equiment.

The security fence is proposed for the new Yorkshire Water location. The remainder of the site will be used by the garden centre.

The expiry date for receipt by the council of any representations on the plan is January 6.

l MRS S. Chisholme has applied to the council to convert a barn to a dwelling at Great House Farm, Colden Lane, Heptonstall. The deadline for receipt of representations on the application is January 13.
