Members of a local gym marks its fifth anniversary with a video’d challenge to boost a fund to build a bench and shelter in memory of a Todmorden teenager who died earlier this year.
Jack Pickles was 14 when he passed away and family and friends are raising money to build a bench and shelter to go with a tree already planted in his memory at Todmorden High School.
Bailey’s Gym owner Hadley Pollard said next week members would be paying £5 each to take the five-minute workout challenge to raise money for Jack’s appeal.
“It involves ten press-ups, ten squats and ten burpees and then repeat as many times as possible in the five minutes. We hope as many take part as possible to help the appeal and there are prizes to be won too ,” said Hadley. More details on the challenge from Hadley on 01706 839225.
