You can put something back into free festival

ARE you planning to come to Todstock on Saturday, August 6, or Sunday, August 7?

Todstock 2011 is looking for willing volunteers to support the festival by volunteering three hours of their time during the event as a volunteer steward.

Activities may include marshalling a marquee, directing traffic and more, but duties will be decided on the day.

“The festival is free to the community and this is your way to give something back,” said festival co-ordinator Craig Baillie.

Shifts take place from noon to 3pm, 3pm to 6pm and 6pm to 9pm on the Saturday and noon to 3pm and 3pm to 6pm on the Sunday. For the insomniacs among you, overnight shifts on Friday and Saturday night are also requested.

Anyone wishing to help out should give their contact details to Terri via email by emailing or telephoning Todstock on 01706 817201.

Organisers are still on the lookout for more stallholders to participate in the event. Stalls cost £20 per day, or £35 for the weekend. Food stalls cost £200 for both days.

In other Todstock news, a new urban tent playing contemporary soul, R&B and house with DJs and Live PAs run by Bolton’s Bad Influence collective has just been confirmed.
