A GROUP of ten pupils are producing an exhibition and a film as part of a history project.
The year nine students at Todmorden High School are exploring the history of Todmorden, looking at everything from pastimes to industry.
The group has been on trips to places including Bankfield Museum as part of the research.
The project, funded by a £25,000 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund, involves staging an exhibition at the town hall and producing a DVD.
Student Kathryn Stott said: “We are going to try to create a little museum in the town hall, an interactive exhibition.”
The pupils, who are all part of the Young Roots programme, said it has been very interesting work. Luke Glover said: “It’s a fun way to learn.”
