I drive to the limits at my peril

I refer to a recent article regarding the speed of vehicles on the road from Littleborough to Todmorden.

I travel on this road every morning around 7.30 and drive to the recommended limits at my peril. I have vehicles just feet behind me while others not only overtake where it is most dangerous but actually pass me in the 20mph restricted zone outside Stansfield School.

At Walsden Village Stores vehicles in the narrowest gaps travel at 40mph and 50mph approaching a pedestrian crossing and a school road attendant.

Regrettably, speed humps are not the answer. The slution will be radar traps strategically placed at random positions.
