NINE-year-old Will Woodworth-Barnstone from the Todmorden Tae Kwon-Do Club was successful in achieving his first degree black belt.
Will, who has been doing Tae Kwon-do since he was five, has worked very hard and been training in both the junior and adult classes.
His new grading, shows the great dedication and commitment that the youngster has shown.
More than 300 people attended the Tae Kwon-Do academy in Bristol with a few not making the required standard on the day, which makes it all the more special for the ones who passed.
Will was mentioned by the grading examiners as being a very good martial artist showing a very good standard of Tae Kwon-Do.
His instructor Keith Raistrick said he had worked hard and done the Todmorden Tae Kwon-Do Club very proud.
“Will’s pass mark reflected the amount of effort he had put in prior to the grading, and I am very proud him,” said the instructor.
