More than 30 children attended the open day of the newly formed Border Gymnastics Club at Ferney Lee School, Todmorden.
The aim of the three hour session was to give youngsters a taste of general gymnastics and tumbling, and parents the chance to register their children with the new club.
At the end of the morning all the children were presented with a certificate of attendance.
The club officially starts this Saturday and will run from Ferney Lee School where children will be coached by former United Kingdom display team gymnast Sam Tasker and former Yorkshire county champion Paul Smith.
Their aim is to teach gymnastic skills to upper Calder Valley children and those from the surrounding areas. The club will also be running fundraising to pay for new equipment.
Sessions will take place on Saturday mornings. For more information contact the coaches on 01706 816755 or by email at email@example.com
