James Ward-Prowse of Southampton battles for possession with Chris Wood of Burnley during the Premier League match between Burnley and Southampton at Turf Moor on September 26, 2020 in Burnley, England.

St Mary's has been a happy hunting ground for the Clarets recently as Sean Dyche's side have clocked up seven points against Southampton from their last three visits in the top flight.

Matej Vydra was the hero of the hour last term when restoring Burnley s lead with a thumping finish past Alex McCarthy.

Former Claret Danny Ings had previously found the net in the 18th minute to cancel out Ashley Westwood's early opener direct from a corner kick.

The Saints, who share an identical points return and goal difference with Sunday's opponents on the South Coast, claimed the bragging rights earlier on in the season when Ings' first half finish proved to be the difference at Turf Moor.
