THERE was a hat-trick for Callum Hallahan as Woodhouse United moved to the top of Rochdale Sunday League Division Two after a third consecutive victory.
They were always ahead against visitors Dicken Green and scored after 10 minutes when Joe Whitham hit home a cross from Terry Lowe.
Hallahan got his first, hitting in a rebound from a blocked Whitham shot.
But the striker was on hand to get his second after latching on to a through ball.
The visitors the got a penalty but keeper Reece Gill made a good stop.
Five minutes later however he was beaten by another penalty to make it 3 - 1 at half-time.
Early in the second half Hallahan nipped in to pick up a back pass and score his second.
He got his third after being brought down in the area and then scoring from the spot.
The visitors got a late consolation goal with a fre header.
l IN Division Three it was great start too for Royal George, who won 5 - 2 away from home at Highfield Thirds.
The goals were spread about equally with one each for Tommy Uttley, Joe Connor, James Staroszcuk, Jackson Sutcliffe and Jonny Sutcliffe.
