The opening bowler took his second nine-wicket haul in successive performances and crucially got Bridgeholme’s last man with just seven runs required on Saturday.
He proved earlier that he can also hold a bat, making 59 and thumping four sixes in his innings.
He put on 91 for the fifth wicket with Milan Opacic (50 no) as Stainland made 190.
It proved enough with Abid’s 69 helping the visitors fight back from 56 for five.
