JACK’S House Football Club, set to make their Rochdale Alliance premier league debut in 2011-2012, are looking for a new first team manager.

Dave Williams has been at the club’s helm and proved a steady hand as he steered his team through a highly successful season that culminated in them clinching the first division title.

But work commitments mean Dave is having to step down from the manager’s role although he will still be on hand to lend advice and support when possible.

A spokesman for the club said: “Dave is still going to have a loose involvement but we are looking for somebody to take the reins. It’s a great opportunity to move into.

“We are also wanting to attract additional new squad members,” he said.

Ideally, Jack’s House hope to have a new manager in place by the end of June, with pre-season training starting in July.

The club held its presentation night last Saturday, where the league trophy was presented.

Team trophies were awarded as follows.

First team players’ player of the season: Danny Brown; first team manager’s player of the season, Chris Barker; first team golden boot, Danny Brown. Second team players’ player, Arron Adams; second team manager’s player, Arron Adams; second team golden boot, Josh Krogulski.

A special award of a team picture was made to Dave Williams who has pushed his team hard this season with that promotion as its reward.
