Hebden Bridge put their semi-local knowledge to good use in winning the Halifax-Huddersfield Union’s Second Division Scratch Team Championship at Todmorden yesterday.
The Rive Rocks quartet of George Bamford, Henry Butterworth, Iain Powell and Mark Powell totalled 317 to win by two shots from Hanging Heaton.
Four handicapper Bamford shot a 74, the best of the day and one better than Outlane three handicapper Jarrad Hazelden.
