WITH several players missing, Jacks found it tough going at Fothergill and Whittles.

They went into the break trailing 2 - 0 but staged a fightback in the second half, with Eddie Orlinski pulling a goal back.

But they could not hold the home side and had to settle for a Jonny Sutcliffe consolation goal.

JACKS second team put in a good performance, but were beaten by the better team.

The first half was fairly even with a fine goal from Jake Goldie, who fired in after beating three players, to equalise the visitors early strike.

Both sides missed chances in the first half, but the Bridge were on fire early in the second and leapt to a 4 - 1 lead.

But Jacks came back with a second from Goldie and one from new signing Thomas Barnes to pull it back to 4 - 3.

But two more quick goals finished off Jacks and the visitors added another near the end to complete the scoring.

Goldie and midfielder Jamie Bull were joint man of the match winners for Jacks.
