THE Todmorden Quiz League title race is still open after Jack’s House defeated front runners Woodpecker in last week’s round of fixtures.
At Royal George the home team fell behind in the early stages and never recovered giving a win to Polished Knob while at Cornholme Waggon the scores were even until the last round where an 11-1 score by Hare and Hounds B gave them the match.
At Centre Vale the Cricketers looked dead and buried being 13 points behind at halfway but a disastrous last two rounds by Weavers gave the home team an unlikely victory.
Hare and Hounds Hounds A’s good run continued with a convincing win against Bridge End. Queen’s score was the highest of the night against Shannon who may have been still dazed after the previous week’s demolition.
