Sleepy spell costs Jacks

JACKS squandered a 2 - 0 lead during a sleepy 15 minute period.

They then had plenty of chances to at least equalise, but could not get the ball in the net.

They started well and Jonny Sutcliffe won a penalty and then put away the kick.

Soon after Danny Brown forced another penalty, but the kick hit the post.

About five minutes before the break Craig Cochrane stabbed home from a Brown corner to give Jacks a 2 - 0 half-time lead.

Early in the second half though they went to sleep. First they failed to clear their area and were made to pay.

Then a well taken free kick was curled into the net to level the scores..

Within minutes Jacks were behind when they again failed to clear.

They fought back creating plenty of chances with Jordan Walker proving a handful up front, but they were unable to finish.

On Saturday they host second place Fothergill and Whittles who beat them on home soil two weeks ago.
