WOODHOUSE United bounced back from cup defeat last week to take top spot in Rochdale Sunday League Division Two.
With a long injury list, they were struggling to field a team, but it did not show once they got on the pitch.
They played down the slope for in the first half and for 25 minutes it was a fairly even affair.
Woodhouse then took control scoring three times before the break.
First striker Callum Hallahan was brought down in the box. He took the spot kick himself to give the visitors the lead.
He was on hand again to slot the ball home, finishing off a good move started at the back by Darren Preece.
Just before half-time Harry Whitehead headed in from a long throw by Daniel Lively.
In the second half Woodhouse were solid as they withstood the pressure from the home team and keeper Stuart Parnell was only beaten once, but Gary Fish was there to clear off the line.
Late on Mark Walters threaded a ball through to Terry Lowe, who ran on and added the fourth goal.
In a good team performance Whitehead was outstanding along with Robert Whittem.
