Arts and crafts galore direct from the makers

Lovers of arts and crafts might like to pay a visit to Artsmill, Hebden Bridge this weekend for an annual fair in the Threads Café and Lounge.

The Craft Fair runs on December 3 and 4 at 10am – 4pm and visitors will be able to buy artworks, photographic prints, cards, knitted goods, pegged carpets and rugs, fabric gifts and notebooks, gothic dolls, jewellery and lots more direct from the artists and craftspeople producing them.

Among the local artists, designers and makers showing their work are Annie Lawson, Frances Earnshaw, Sue Addison, Leigh Jack, Bev Speak, Miranda Jane Burton, Jane Kendrick, Polly Webber, Alison Barnborough, Tilly Howarth, Sarita Lavender and Paul MacDonald

And to give the whole weekend a festive feel refreshments including warming mulled wine and cake will be available. Visitors can also see the Artsmill Winter Exhibition in the adjacent David Wright Gallery.
