An eclectic mix for next Doghouse

Another excellent package from the Doghouse promoters brings Parisien singer/songwriter Stanley Brinks (aka Andre Herman Dune) to Arden Road Social Club together with his great friend and collaborator Freschard.

The pair first met when she moved to Paris aged 18 and worked in a cafe.

He helped begin her career writing a few songs for her. The pair now collaborate in Kreuzberg Museum a Calypso cover band and cult group The Fox. The pair released a duet album called Pizza Expresso in the UK in 2014.

Brinks, half Swedish, half Moroccan started his own bank Stanley Brinks and Kaniks following an all night jam with musicians in Egersund, Norway.

He produced two albums in 2015, the concept collection Robotika based on a Czech play about robots, featuring uneven rhythms and a Greek-tuned mandolin followed by My Ass, his fourth album with Wave Pictures featuring a pennywhistle and a female choir.

They are joined by Halifax psychedelic indie rockers Vermillion Tides.
