Rachel joins Hymn Sing
Guest soloist Rachel Mosley from Opera North will join organist Dr Simon Lindley and Overgate Hospice Choir in the annual Hymn Sing at Central Methodist Church, Brighouse, on Saturday, April 16 at 7.30pm.
The choir will celebrate its 25th anniversary in October and the Hymn Sing is one of the most popular fundraising events in the hospice calendar.
The choir will be conducted by Dr Gordon Stewart who said: “It is always enormous fun working with the choir for several weeks before the event - if there were awards for the amount of laughter during rehearsals we should surely win first prize.”
On May 20 the choir will present a concert called ‘A Right Royal Do’ at Halifax Minster to mark the Queen’s 90th birthday.
